Description

The SL-88 Pin Brazing Gun is used for pin brazing in drilled holes or holes made with vacuum excavation technique (Hydrovac). In holes down to as deep as 26 ft (8 m) and as small as 10 in (250 mm) diameter.
SL-88 is used for pin brazing electrical cables (for cathodic protection or electrical installations) to buried pipes; for example water pipes, gas pipes etc.
With the new gun, large excavations are not required to access the pipe and connect the wires.

In order to facilitate deep-hole pin brazing a video camera is included that can be connected to a laptop or mobile device.
The extended pin brazing gun, made of anodized aluminum, is used together with Safetrack’s electronic Pin Brazing unit, ECONECT.
The brazing gun has the patented S4 technology which ensures correct lift level and perfect brazing results.

Length of the gun can be extended with up to 5 extension rods each adding 5 ft (1.5 m) for a total length of 26 ft (8 m).
